How to train abs correctly :
before doing abs make sure to have a great warm up first like the jumping rope or the walking machine because it will activate your abdominals.
My advice is don't kill yourself in the gym in order to have abs if you are not on a strict diet , because abs is the most muscle that it's built in the kitchen so in order to make a great group of abdominals you should have a diet.
Dont train abs with reps, do it with time like from 20 - 30 minutes .
If you want a great abs like any muscle play it twice a week but not every day because it will damage you more than it will enhance you .
Try to train abs with an empty stomach .
Its normal to drink water when you train abs but a little sips .
If you have a high body fat percentage train abs with no weights but if you already have abs and you want to enhance them play it with weights.
